If you’re looking for some scary movies to watch to put you in the mood for Halloween, RottenTomatoes.com has put together a list of the 50 best horror movies. The list is based on the movie’s rating from movie critics, the number of reviews that rating is based on, and the year the film was released. What does the year have to do with it? I don’t know. But here’s the top 20.

Rotten Tomatoes’ highest-rated horror movies aren’t all Alfred Hitchcock, John Carpenter, and Jordan Peele. (But they’re all definitely up there.)https://t.co/cXudzaqm06— Mental Floss (@mental_floss) October 26, 2021
The trailer for “Tiger King 2” has dropped and it’s picking up right where the first one left off. Joe Exotic’s animal park is shut down and Joe is sitting in a Texas prison serving 22 years for animal abuse and trying to hire someone to kill Carole Baskin. The official description of Season 2 reads: “With Joe Exotic behind bars and Carole Baskin closing in on ownership of his disreputable zoo, the Emmy-nominated saga continues its twisted course with ‘Tiger King 2’ as newfound revelations emerge on the motivations, backstories, and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners. Old enemies and frenemies, including Jeff Lowe, Tim Stark, Allen Glover, and James Garretson return for another season of murder, mayhem, and madness. Thought you knew the whole story? Just you wait.” In the 2-minute clip, Joe defends himself in a phone call from jail, saying, “There’s an innocent man in prison. Everybody from the zoo is out there making money, and I’m paying the price for every one of them people.” Carole Baskin wasn’t thrilled with the way she was portrayed in “Tiger King,” so it’s not clear is she’s involved beyond what she’d already filmed. But of course, they’re going to dive into the mysterious disappearance of her husband, Don Lewis. “Tiger King 2” premieres on Netflix Nov. 17.
We thought we’d seen it all — but we’d only scratched the surface
The upcoming movie “Lightyear” is the origin story of Buzz Lightyear. But the voice of Tim Allen is out, and the voice of Chris Evans is in. Tim has been the voice of Buzz Lightyear since the character debuted in 1995, and we heard him as Buzz most recently as 2019. Some “Toy Story” fans are speculating Tim was ditched because of his support of Donald Trump, but others believe it ain’t that deep. Even though “Lightyear” is an animated movie, the film portrays the character as a human Buzz Lightyear. In the “Toy Story” movies, the voice was the toy version of the character.
Adele is releasing her fourth studio album, “30,” on Nov. 19 — her first album since 2015’s “25.” Yes, she will be touring to promote it. Adele announced her first two concerts are happening in London’s Hyde Park on July 1 and 2, 2022, and that pre-sale tickets were available on her website. That’s all her fans needed to hear. The website was temporarily crashed, but when they got it back up and running, those tickets were gone in no time.
The pre-sale for Adele’s concert at the Hyde Park generated over than 100,000 people trying to buy a ticket.
The local sheriff and the DA are continuing their investigation into the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Santa Fe set of “Rust.” Legal experts told The Wrap that based on details around gun safety on set and the inexperience of the armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, this investigation could now involve reckless or negligent behavior, which would be grounds for criminal charges. Assistant director David Halls is the one who actually handed the gun to Alec Baldwin, telling him it was a “cold gun.” David told police that Hannah showed him the firearm before rehearsal, but he didn’t check all the chambers in the gun before handing it to Alec. But Hannah told authorities she took all the necessary steps to secure the gun and that she checked the ammo and there were never live rounds on set. That was not the case. Police recovered about 500 rounds of ammo, which included a mix of blanks, dummies and live bullets. The Wrap’s legal sources also said that Alec faces greater legal danger as a producer of the film than he does as the actor who pulled the trigger.
Criminal charges could be “on the table” in Alec Baldwin’s fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie ‘Rust’.
