‘Shark Tank’ guest sharks… Justin Timberlake joins Benicio Del Toro… DWTS Season 30… The favorite for next James Bond… and ‘Donda’ listening party in Chicago
The new season of “Shark Tank” premieres on Friday, Oct. 8, and they’re coming in hot! Kevin Hart will be joining the Sharks panel for the first time. His entertainment companies include HartBeat Productions and the comedy brand Laugh Out Loud. The co-founder of Khloe Kardashian’s Good American and founding parnter of her sister Kim’s SKIMS, Emma Grede, will also be one of the Sharks this season, as well as Nextdoor co-founder Nirav Tolia. Each one will appear individually alongside the Shark OGs, Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary.
Justin Timberlake has joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix movie “Reptile.” He co-stars alongside Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro, who plays a hardened detective trying to uncover the truth behind the brutal murder of a young real estate agent. Justin’s last acting role was the Apple Original Film, “Palmer,” aka “the movie that almost cost Justin his marriage.” “Reptile” is being directed by Grant Singer. This will be his first time directing a movie. Up until now, he’s directed some really cool videos, such as Taylor Swift and Zayn’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” and several for The Weeknd — “Can’t Feel My Face,” “The Hills” and “Call Out My Name.”
“Dancing With the Stars” returns for Season 30 and the first two celebrity dancers are both 18-year-old — JoJo Siwa and Olympic gymnast Suni Lee! JoJo will make history by dancing with a same-sex partner. And before she heads off to Auburn University, Suni is hoping she can put a mirrorball trophy on the shelf next to her 3 Olympic medals. Suni won bronze for individual uneven bars, silver in the team competition and gold in the women’s all-around competition.
We still don’t know who will take over for Daniel Craig as the next James Bond, but oddsmakers say “Bridgerton” star Regé-Jean Page is the clear favorite. Other names still in the 007 pool include Tom Hardy, “1917” actor George MacKay, “Little Women” star James Norton, Luke Evans, Idris Elba and Henry Cavill, who reportedly auditioned for “Casino Royale.” After multiple delays, Daniel Craig’s last appearance as James Bond in “No Time To Die” is scheduled to be released on Sept. 30 in the UK and on Oct. 8 in the US. 1.
A third listening party and still no “DONDA” album. But according to Billboard, Kanye’s earning millions from his listening parties, so why would he rush? We don’t have the final totals from his Chicago event, but the first two listening parties in Atlanta reportedly earned him close to $13M. Meantime, Kanye is still tweaking his album, and not everybody is happy about it. For whatever reason, he removed Jay-Z’s verse from “Jail” and replaced it with a verse from DaBaby. Not only that, Kanye had DaBaby and Marilyn Manson join him on the porch of his mom’s house, which he recreated on the field, as he played a song with the lyric “Tell me if you need someone that needs Jesus love.” DaBaby was recently canceled for making homophobic statements, and Marilyn was canceled over accusations of violent sexual assaults. But Marilyn isn’t even on the “DONDA” album. At one point during the listening party, Kanye set himself on fire and walked around. And for the grand finale, as his song “No Child Left Behind” played, Kim Kardashian West walked out in a Balenciaga Couture wedding dress, but sources say this is NOT a sign that these two are getting back together. She’s just supporting Kanye in his art.
