Amazon has won the battle among every TV network and streaming service to get Nicolas Cage’s new show where he plays Joe Exotic from “Tiger King.” This version of the story is based on a 2019 “Texas Monthly” article. The show will center on Joe Exotic “an eccentric, exotic zookeeper who fights to keep his park — even at the risk of losing his sanity. The series will explore how he became Joe Exotic, and how he lost himself to a character of his own creation.” Carole Baskin told “Extra” this week that Nicolas Cage is one of her favorite actors, but she just doesn’t know if she can ever watch him again after this. Kate McKinnon will play Carole Baskin in a different version of the story. Kate’s show landed at Peacock and is based on Wondery’s Joe Exotic podcast.

Yesterday, Lindsay Lohan had some good news and some bad news. First, the good news! Lindsay announced she’s started a new company in the United Arab Emirates, which is where she’s been living for the past few years. It’s called #BeYourOwnBoss. We have no idea what her business actually does. So far, we just have the name. Now the bad news…Lindsay is being sued by HarperCollins for not writing a book. Back in March 2014, Lindsay signed a deal with the book publisher, promising to have her story written by May 2015. That deadline came and went, so they told her to get it done by March 2017. Again, no book. So in September 2018, HarperCollins decided this wasn’t ever going to happen, so they asked Lindsay to return the $365K check they’d given her, and guess what….Just like she didn’t write that book, she didn’t write that check, so now they’re suing her for $365K, plus interest and legal fees.

Jon Gosselin is being investigated for child abuse. On a since-deleted Instagram post, his 16-year-old son Collin accused him of beating him up last week. A source told People the two of them had gotten into an argument in the car and Collin began screaming and cursing. When they got home, Collin allegedly went into the garage, picked up a huge bottle and threw it at his dad’s car, leaving a dent. Jon lost it. He allegedly got out of the car, put Collin in a headlock and punched him in the nose. The source said when Collin fell to the ground, Jon then kicked him in the ribs. Collin called the police. His mother Kate is livid, saying she doesn’t want any of their kids around Jon any more. Two of their sextuplets — Collin and Hannah — have been living with their dad up until this point.

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were rumored to have dated for six years before splitting up in August 2019. There were even rumors they were engaged at one point. But recently, Katie has been seen making out with Emilio Vitolo Jr., who works as a chef at his dad’s restaurant, which happens to be a celebrity hotspot in SoHo. But is Katie a home wrecker? Sources say Katie knew Emilio was engaged when they started hooking up back in March. The only problem was, Emilio’s fiancée didn’t know about Katie! In fact, sources say Emilio broke up with his fiancée BY TEXT just a few hours before pictures of him and Katie hit the tabloids. He didn’t mention Katie in the text. She found out about it when her friends sent her the tabloid photos.

You didn’t think you were getting rid of them that easy, did you? Just because they’re leaving E! doesn’t mean they’ll stop living their lives in front of a camera. Sources told Page Six that the Kardashians are considering starting their own media company and will likely have a streaming deal within a year. E! reportedly paid the family $150M the last time they renewed their contract in 2017, but they could earn double that — and maybe even more! — in a deal with Netflix, Apple or Amazon. One source told Page Six that the family is interested in shifting away from their current reality show format, and working on projects similar to “Shark Tank.”
