Can you guess what’s number one?
“Tinder Swindler” pretended to be the son of an Israeli Russian diamond tycoon named Lev Leviev as he conned women out of millions and millions of dollars. Page Six has learned that the Leviev family are suing Shimon Hayut — aka Simon Leviev — claiming he received “numerous benefits (including material ones)” while claiming to be a member of the Leviev family, and that he also “used the LLD Diamonds trademark to make his victims believe that he was indeed part of the diamond company (it’s CEO no less, per his signature).” The REAL daughter of Lev Leviev is part of the lawsuit. Chagit Leviev is the CEO of Leviev Group USA. She told Page Six that there are actually nine siblings in her family — four girls and five boys. NONE of them are named Simon. She said they first started hearing about “Simon Leviev” in 2017. She said, “Soon I started hearing from diamond dealers that he’d made out checks of $350,000 in our name, but they were not our checks. Then another company called us and said we owed them $600,000 for private jets. They sent me a picture of his passport; it was Shimon Hayut.” The family contacted the police in Israel, but Chagit said he was moving to so many different countries that it was hard to track him down. She said, “The biggest shock is when we saw the Netflix show and we saw the extent of his damage and his manipulation. The truth is, that show is just the tip of the iceberg…..We have evidence of him using charter companies, yachts, high end apartment rentals, it goes on and on.” Chagit said, “Even though we are a diamond company, we are victims too. We are getting threats because of this, endless prank calls saying, ‘My enemies are coming for me.’” But she does believe Netflix did a “good enough job” explaining they have nothing to do with this fraud. As far as the lawsuit, Chagit said any proceeds will go back to Simon’s victims.
Colton Underwood is off the market. Yesterday he announced his engagement to political strategist Jordan C. Brown. The two of them actually got engaged shortly after Colton’s 30th birthday on January 26, while they were vacationing in Big Sur, CA. Colton told People, “2021 was the most transformative year of my life. Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate and now fiancé is something I never thought was going to be possible.” It was April of last year that Colton came out during an interview with “Good Morning America” and began filming his Netflix docuseries, “Coming Out Colton.”
Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have reconciled! Sources all over the place are confirming the news. After nearly two decades and two children together, Jason and Lisa announced they were separating back in January. But a source told Life & Style, “They never stopped loving each other and have reconciled. Jason has freed up time from his busy schedule to get their marriage back on track again. He promises Lisa there will be big changes and that making their relationship work comes before anything else.”
Maksim Chmerkovskiy was born in the Ukraine and moved to the US in 1994. He’s been living on and off in Kyiv for the past six months filming “World of Dance UA.” Since Russia’s attack, Maks has been trying to get back home to LA to be with his wife Peta Murgatroyd and their 5-year-old son Shai. Maks shared on his IG Story that he finally made it on a train headed to Warsaw, Poland. He wrote, “I’m in a cabin with 4 adults and 7 kids (ages 2-11) which usually is only occupied by maximum of 3 people. There’s usually up to 30 people in this particular wagon. We were told we have to fit 135.” Maks later updated his followers that he is now safely in Warsaw. Sean Penn had been filming a documentary on the invasion but he and his film crew it was time to leave. Yesterday he tweeted a photo showing him dragging his rolling suitcase down the road, captioning it, “Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road. Almost all the cars in this photo carry women & children only, most without any sign of luggage, and a car their only possession of value.”
