Tom Hardy & Bill Skarsgard’s Vietnam war drama… Eddie Van Halen update… Johnny Depp’s ruling could derail career… Jeannie Mai has been hospitalized… and The Bachelorette is on THURSDAY this week
Tom Hardy, Bill Skarsgard and Pete Davidson have been cast to star in a movie about the Vietnam War called “The Things They Carried.” The book the movie is based on won the 1990 National Book Critics Circle Award and was named one of New York Times’ Books of the Century. The Things They Carried is told through several separate stories about the men of the fictional Alpha Company, as they move from village to village, struggling to come to grips with why they’re all there in the first place. The movie is being directed by the married guy caught making out with Kristen Stewart, Rupert Sanders. Filming is set to begin in Thailand next year.
Eddie Van Halen passed away almost a month ago and “Us Weekly” just did a cover story featuring Valerie Bertinelli. The headline read, “Love, Loss & Staying Strong.” Eddie and Valerie’s son, Wolfgang, had something to say about that, tweeting, “(BLANK) this, and (BLANK) you US WEEKLY. The only thing printed in this piece of toilet paper that’s true is that we all loved my father. This is not a new interview. My mother did not speak to them for this. That is all.” But it wasn’t all. Wolfie continued, “I know what a lot of you are going to say. ‘Just ignore it, bro!’ I’m not going to stand by and let people publish lies and make my family’s tragedy someone else’s entertainment.”
Fuck this, and fuck you @usweekly.
The only thing printed in this piece of toilet paper that’s true is that we all loved my father.
A judge ruled against Johnny Depp in his libel case against British tabloid “The Sun.” He is planning to appeal the decision. Johnny sued the tabloid for calling him a “wife-beater.” During the trial, Amber testified that Johnny abused her 14 times. The judge agreed with her on 12 of the claims, including the most scandalous accusation — poop in the bed! Johnny claims that after a particularly nasty fight, Amber — or one of her friends — pooped in the bed to get even with him. But in his decision, the judge wrote, “…I consider that it is unlikely that Ms Heard or one of her friends was responsible. Mr Depp had left that night…. As long as he was away, it was Ms Heard who was likely to suffer from the feces on the bed, not him.” The judge believes their dog Boo was the culprit. He wrote, “Other evidence in the case showed that Boo had an incomplete mastery of her bowels after she had accidentally consumed some marijuana. Ms. Heard gave evidence that Boo had in the past defecated on the bed…”
Jeannie Mai was forced to drop out of “Dancing With the Stars” for emergency life-saving surgery! Jeannie was diagnosed with epiglottis, which was causing her throat to close up due to an abscess that spread to her tonsils, the back of her neck and even her ears. By the time she was diagnosed, her throat was 60% closed off. Things were so dire, doctors told Jeannie that if she’d waited just one more day, her throat would’ve closed completely. Now this week was supposed to be double elimination week on DWTS, but because Jeannie had to withdraw, only one celebrity went home. SPOILER ALERT! It was “Selling Sunset” star Chrishell Stause. Carrie Ann Inaba said, “I’m stunned, I’m shocked, so I just have to get over that for a minute.” But then she voted to save Skai Jackson, so what was that about, Carrie Ann??
The Real’s Jeannie Mai has been hospitalized and forced to leave #DWTS after being diagnosed with an inflammatory condition, that needs “immediate attention and surgery.” https://t.co/yQz2mlgdog pic.twitter.com/cQ2I7US91p— E! News (@enews) November 2, 2020
It took me a minute to get used to “The Bachelorette” airing on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, but now my head is exploding again because I have to remember that it’s on THURSDAY NIGHT this week. Let’s be honest, Election Day is a tad more important than watching Clare blow up the most dramatic Bachelorette ever. But according to Chris Harrison, the big blow up does, in fact, happen this week. From what we understand, “Listen to Your Heart” winners Bri Stauss and Chris Watson — who now go by Chris and Bri — will perform during Clare and Dale’s final date, and then they’re out and Tayshia is in. And reportedly, four additional men will join the cast, hoping to win Tayshia’s final rose. Will they be some of Clare’s rejects? That, we do not know.
