Mark your calendar. Friday, Oct. 21, is the official kickoff to Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas. They’re adding 40 new movies this year — 31 on Hallmark and 9 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Starting Oct. 21, both networks will be airing holiday movies 24/7. Among the new movies will be “Three Wise Men and a Baby” where three brothers are forced to work together to take care fo a baby through the holidays. Lacey Chabert stars in “Haul Out the Holly,” which makes her record-breaking 12th Hallmark Christmas movie. Chinese Americans will be featured in two new movies, “A Big Fat Family Christmas” and “Christmas at the Golden Dragon.” There’s also a new Hanukkah movie, “Hanukkah on Rye” and for the first time ever, a movie celebrating Kwanzaa — “Holiday Heritage.”

Amber Heard has hired yet another lawyer to try to force two insurance firms to cover her $15M legal bill. So in addition to the two attorneys trying to appeal the verdict in her loss to Johnny Depp, Amber hired Kirk Pasich to reimburse her legal expenses. Before the trial even began, Amber reportedly spent over $8M on legal fees, and the amount she owes is close to doubling that. But Amber’s homeowners policy with Travelers only covers libel up to $500K, while her policy with New York Marine issued her a general liability policy for $1M. But in July of last year, Travelers sued New York Marine, trying to get reimbursed for half of what it spent on defending Amber. THIS IS SO CONFUSING!!!! But Amber just wants SOMEBODY besides her to pay these legal bills, so I guess she’ll just keep hiring lawyers who’ll try to make that happen.

Cardi B tweeted yesterday, “My stupid decisions from the past caused me to miss out on money now. I had a multi-million dollar Call of Duty deal on the table that I couldn’t take because of court. Guys think twice about those quick decisions.” @IceSoSpicy responded, “Nah I need @CallofDuty to renegotiate the deal..imagine Cardi as a character that would be so (fire)” So Cardi explained in a followup tweet, “I couldn’t make it cause of court couple weeks ago …I wasn’t able to do the shoot on time.”

At her concert in Washington, DC, last night, Lizzo played a crystal flute that’s a part of history! Being a classically trained flautist, the Library of Congress had invited Lizzo to visit their extensive archive of flutes and offered her the opportunity to play a couple of them. And she bought one of them out onto the stage with her last night. She explained, “I have to be really careful. This is from the early 1800s. This was a gift to James Madison from a French crystal flute designer to celebrate his second term. There was a fire… and the only two things that were saved were a portrait of George Washington and this crystal flute right here.” Lizzo said, “I am the first person to ever play it, so you’re about to hear what it sounds like for the first time.” And then a representative handed Lizzo the flute and she played a few notes, did a little twerking, and handed it back. She shouted, “B****! I just twerked and played James Madison’s flute from the 1800s! Thank you to the Library of Congress for preserving our history and making history cool. History is freaking cool, you guys!”

After breaking his ribs in a fall onstage in St. Louis days before, Post Malone woke up Saturday afternoon with stabbing pain whenever he breathed or moved, forcing him to cancel that night’s show in Boston. He posted how sorry he was on social media, but he was in so much pain, he had to go the hospital. Well they shot him up with something good because he was back on stage in Cleveland last night. Posty — or Austy, as he calls himself — told the audience, “My last show I had to pull out of, unfortunately. Because I really busted a** in the middle of the stage over there (*pointed to the place where he’d fallen in St. Louis*) and I woke up and my ribs were like cracking and (BLANKED) up and I couldn’t really breathe so well. But we got a couple of days of rest and they gave me some stuff to help out. So I’m here to (BLANKING) kick some a**.” After performing more than two dozen songs, hopefully Post won’t wake up this afternoon regretting the night before. He’s still scheduled to perform tonight in Pittsburgh.
